Pearline is a graduate Diploma holder of Republic Polytechnic’s New Media course, who found her passion and interest for production during her second year. She has had an interest in television at a young age, and aspires to be able to direct her own show that will appear on television.
She has had real production experience during her internship with Ark Pictures, whereby she was placed in-charge of locations, and then later, wardrobe. She has also helped record some B-Rolls for the drama, and acted as an extra in it.
A quiet but hardworking individual, Pearline nevertheless tries her best to make sure things that are assigned to her, are done.
With the basic knowledge and skills that have been picked up through her experiences in school and internship, Pearline would like to build upon it, and gain more experience towards the production industry.
Download my resume hereThe photos here are taken with my Canon EOS 600D DSLR Camera. I enjoy Toy Photography, as I feel it creates life within a picture. Although the subject may be an inanimate object, the photographer is tested to make the subject look “alive”.

The photos below were taken from my Canon EOS 600D Camera. I enjoy outdoor photography because I feel there are more colors and vibrancy in the pictures. Outdoor photography also tends to challenge the photographer to take a good photo against the outdoor elements(weather, light etc).

This is a video done in my 3rd year, for the ciNE65 competition, as part of a class project. The theme was “I’ll be there for you”.
This video was shot on my Canon EOS 600D DSLR camera.
I was the director for this video.
The story is about the struggles of an aspiring songwriter trying to make her mark in the local music industry. Her chance comes when she stumbles upon a local songwriting competition. Thus, she goes around iconic places, seeking inspiration to write a song about Singapore.
This is a video that I directed for my “Short Media Production” module. Entitled “Loss”, My team and I created this video based on the theme of light and darkness.
This video was shot on my Canon EOS 600D DSLR camera.
The story in this video is about how when someone important is in your life, it makes your life "bright", and full of happiness. But when that person is gone, your life becomes dark.
This video is done for my “Media Production” module, and was my very first attempt at being a DOP. The story is based on the theme of "change".
